The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) offers financing to Danish companies and exporters in all stages of their life cycles in cooperation with banks and financial institutions. EIFO hereby helps to cover part of the financial institution´s risk.

Together with the bank we offer direct lending to start-ups in the early phase of their life cycle and loans to more matured companies with growth plans. We also offer guarantees for risk coverage.

Bank and country list

The list of banks: The list offers an overview of the banks which we have pre-approved. Danish banks can therefore confirm L/Cs from the banks on the list and obtain risk coverage from EIFO. Find the list here.

Country list: The list offers an overview of countries pre-approved for credit worthy transactions worth up to DKK 25 million. EIFO is open for transactions up to DKK 25 million in all the countries on the list. You can also find the status on bills of exchange on the same list. Find the list here.
